Turn TicketSwap into a brand fans can't resist following by creating content that millions of event lovers want to watch, share, and talk about.

Job description

At TicketSwap, we're on a mission to become the experience marketplace every fan loves. By bringing fans and experiences together on our marketplace, we enable fans to go to more events they love while helping organisers build lasting success.

More than 20 million fans across 42 countries already use TicketSwap to discover live experiences safely and fairly. As we continue to grow, we're looking for a Content Marketeer to help tell our story in a way that feels authentic, creative, and impossible to scroll past.

Do you live and breathe social media? Are you always the first to spot a trend, have ideas for your next video before finishing the last one, and don't mind stepping in front of the camera yourself? Then this might be your next step!

What you'll do

As our Content Marketer, you'll help bring the TicketSwap brand to life across our social channels. You'll create content that entertains, informs, and connects with fans before, during, and after the events they love.

Working closely with Brand, Performance Marketing, Design, and other teams, you'll help turn campaigns, product launches and cultural moments into content people actually want to watch.

You'll:

  • Create engaging short-form video, photo, and written content for TicketSwap's blog / magazine and social channels.

  • Spot social and cultural trends early and translate them into content that fits our brand.

  • Be comfortable appearing on camera when it helps tell the story.

  • Write clear, engaging copy in fluent English that matches our tone of voice.

  • Plan and publish content according to our editorial calendar.

  • Help manage and grow our social media communities through thoughtful engagement.

  • Adapt content for different platforms, understanding what works on each channel.

  • Track the performance of your content and use insights to improve future posts.

  • Collaborate with colleagues across Marketing, Product, Customer Experience, and Partnerships to create relevant stories.

  • Support campaigns with creative content that helps grow brand awareness and engagement.

  • Keep our content fresh, consistent and recognisably TicketSwap.

Job requirements

About you

We're looking for someone who's naturally curious about internet culture and loves creating content. You don't need years of experience, but you do need strong instincts for what makes people stop scrolling.

You'll probably recognise yourself in this:

  • You have some experience creating content for social media, professionally or through your own channels.

  • You love platforms like Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube, and genuinely enjoy keeping up with what's happening online.

  • You're confident in filming, editing, and occasionally presenting content yourself.

  • You know how to turn an idea into engaging content from start to finish.

  • You're a strong writer with an excellent command of English, both written and spoken.

  • You understand that good content isn't only about trends. You know when to join the conversation and when not to.

  • You have a creative mindset, but you're equally happy using data and performance insights to improve your work.

  • You're organised, proactive, and enjoy collaborating with others.

  • You're excited to learn, experiment, and continuously improve.

  • You have a portfolio of your content, whether it's social posts, videos, campaigns, or personal projects, that you can upload or share as part of your application.

  • You’re based in The Netherlands, are an EU resident, or have an existing visa to work here (a relocation package isn’t available).

Why you'll love it here

  • Your work will reach millions of fans across Europe and beyond.

  • You'll have the freedom to experiment with new ideas, formats, and platforms.

  • You'll join an international team where ownership comes early, and good ideas win, regardless of job title.

  • You'll help shape one of Europe's fastest-growing consumer brands in live entertainment.

  • You'll work with people who genuinely love music, festivals, sports, and live experiences.

Practical details

  • Full-time

  • Amsterdam (hybrid)

  • Fluent English required

  • Entry-level role in Function Group 3 with an expected starting salary around €41,000 gross/year, scaling up to €53,180 as you grow in the role (includes 8% holiday allowance)

TicketSwap is looking for the best and motivated talent out there no matter your nationality, gender, sexual preference or religious beliefs. 🚀

Research shows that women and those in traditionally underrepresented groups tend to apply only if they check all the boxes. That’s a shame, as we want to build a diverse and inclusive team. If you know you’ve got what it takes but don’t quite meet every requirement for the role, we still encourage you to apply.

Apply now – we'll take a look and get back to you as soon as possible! 💥
