Freelance Product Manager - Generic Resale
- Hybrid
- Amsterdam, Netherlands
- Product
Launch a generic Fan to Fan resale solution to unlock supply where TicketSwap can’t today.
Job description
At TicketSwap, we’re on a mission to be the experience marketplace every fan loves. By bringing fans and experiences together on our marketplace, we help people go to more events they love while supporting organizers in building lasting success.
With over 19 million fans across 42 countries, the way tickets are fulfilled is changing fast. As a Freelance Product Manager, you’ll help us respond just as fast by building a new resale solution that allows us to keep up with new ticket fulfillment technologies in the industry. Technologies we’re currently not yet able to support but are critical to unlock for future growth.
This is a high-impact, time-critical role with a clear goal: ship a V1 before the end of June.
What You’ll Do
You’ll lead the discovery and delivery of a new “generic resale” solution. Instead of relying on reverse engineering new technologies, this model allows transactions to happen on TicketSwap while fulfillment happens on the original ticketing platform.
You’ll work closely with a cross-functional team to validate assumptions, define the right experience, and get a first version live quickly.
Your responsibilities:
Shape a generic Fan to Fan resale solution, from discovery to V1 launch
Translate a complex problem space into a clear, testable product approach
Validate key assumptions around seller behaviour, buyer trust, and fulfilment flows
Shape the buyer and seller experience, including instructions, edge cases, and failure handling
Work closely with Design/UX Research to test flows and reduce friction
Collaborate with engineers to build a simple, reliable first version under time pressure
Balance breadth and clarity of the solution against scalability and define the scope of the MVP accordingly
Define lightweight but meaningful success metrics to evaluate the V1
Identify and prioritize risks, especially around trust, fraud, and failed fullfilment
Align stakeholders across Product, CX, Legal, and Partnerships on trade-offs and decisions
Communicate progress clearly and keep momentum high towards the June deadline

About You

You’re data-informed, but not blocked by imperfect information
You communicate clearly and align stakeholders quickly
You’re hands-on and willing to go deep where needed
Why You’ll Love It Here
This is a chance to build something fundamentally new for TicketSwap. You’ll work on a problem that sits at the core of our marketplace and directly impacts how we scale in new and challenging markets.
You’ll have real ownership, a clear mission, and the space to move fast with a strong team behind you.
