To accelerate our growth in the Iberian market (Spain & Portugal), we’re looking for a Business Developer (Senior) who’s ready to unlock new opportunities and make TicketSwap the go-to resale partner for organisers across the region.

What You’ll Do

As a Business Developer for Iberia, you’ll expand our event organiser partnerships across Spain and Portugal. You’ll be a commercial driver, someone who understands the market and knows how to turn conversations into long-term collaborations.

You will:

  • Identify, approach, and close new event organiser and ticketing partnerships across Spain and Portugal

  • Build strong, long-term relationships with key stakeholders in the live events industry

  • Drive revenue growth in the region by increasing event adoption

  • Own the full sales cycle: from prospecting and pitching to negotiation and contract closure

  • Represent TicketSwap at industry events, conferences, and key partner meetings across Iberia

  • Collaborate closely with Account Management and Operations to ensure smooth partner onboarding

  • Translate local market feedback into actionable insights for internal teams

  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and regulatory developments in Spain and Portugal

  • Develop regional growth strategies together with the Iberian Region Lead

  • Track performance against targets and proactively adjust your approach where needed

  • Contribute to improving internal sales processes and tooling

Job requirements

About You

We’re looking for someone who combines commercial drive with genuine curiosity about the live events industry.

Besides that, you:

  • Have at least 5 years of experience in business development, partnerships, or sales, ideally within ticketing, events, marketplaces, or tech

  • Know the Spanish market well and understand how the live entertainment ecosystem works (Portugal is a strong plus)

  • Speak fluent Spanish and English (both written and spoken). Portuguese is a plus

  • Are confident managing stakeholders at different seniority levels

  • Enjoy building relationships and earning trust over time

  • Are comfortable negotiating contracts and discussing commercial terms

  • Take ownership and work independently, while staying closely aligned with your team

  • Use data to inform decisions and prioritise opportunities

  • Are proactive, creative, structured, and not afraid to open new doors

  • Care about fairness and transparency in the live event space

  • Live in Spain (preferably Madrid or Barcelona region) and understand that traveling within Iberia is part of the role
