What you can expect from the work

Based in Amsterdam working from our HQ, you will:

• Lead legal support for corporate trajectories, including management participations, transaction documentation, and shareholder compliance;

• Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR), including reviewing policies, overseeing training, and managing data breach protocols;

• Keep track of evolving global and local legislation and translate these into actionable strategies for TicketSwap;

• Act as the primary legal advisor to leadership, offering guidance on commercial agreements, partnerships, and disputes;

• Be the point of contact for external legal advisors, regulators, and stakeholders to address legal matters;

• Effectively guide and lead 1 FTE (Legal Counsel).

About you

• You bring 7+ years of legal experience, with at least some time spent in-house, preferably in a marketplace or platform environment and consumer-facing company;

• You speak Dutch fluently and have excellent understanding of the Dutch law;

• Proven experience with DSA and data privacy laws (e.g., GDPR) and corporate legal matters;

• You’re skilled at translating complex legal concepts into practical advice for diverse teams;

• You thrive in a fast-paced, international environment and enjoy juggling multiple priorities;

• You’re a persuasive and confident self starter with a can-do mentality;

• You enjoy proactively advising the business and using your legal knowledge and experience to help achieve commercial objectives;

• You’re an experienced leader - whether mentoring junior team members or managing cross-functional legal projects.
