Data Analyst (Finance, Fraud & Partnerships)
What you can expect from the work
💰 Financial Performance Modelling
Build and maintain dashboards of revenue streams, offering key insights into business performance
Develop models to evaluate pricing, discounting, and revenue impact scenarios
💳 Payment Process Analysis
Structure and analyse data on payment and payout flows to support issue detection, identify cost saving initiatives, reduce inefficiencies and all-in-all improve our payment/payout operations
🛡 Fraud Prevention
Enable fraud prevention-focused teams with data insights to prevent fraud from occurring on our platform
🤝 Partnership Analytics
Analyze performance of B2B partnerships and commercial initiatives, to help Partnerships team make data-backed decisions
Generate data insights that add value for our B2B partners
🔗 Cross-Team Collaboration
Work closely with Finance, Partnerships, Product and Platform Operations teams to understand business needs and translate them into actionable insights.
About you
You are based in The Netherlands, are an EU resident, or have an existing visa to work here. A relocation package is not provided.
🎓 Educational Background:
A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
💼 Professional Experience:
1 or 2 years of experience in a Data or Business Analyst role, ideally in a similar environment. Marketplace experience is a huge plus.
If you have worked in or with financial services (Adyen, Stripe) this could also be an advantage
🛠 Technical Skills:
Hands-on experience with analytics tools, including SQL and large datasets.
Proficiency in data visualization tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Looker (Data Studio).
Experience with DBT or equivalent tool for data transformation is an advantage.
💡 Business Knowledge:
Specific business knowledge on PSPs such as Stripe or Adyen can be an advantage
Specific business knowledge on (payment) fraud prevention can be an advantage
Experience in financial performance analysis can be an advantage
🤹 Soft Skills:
Ability to work in an international, fast-paced, multicultural environment.
Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
Proven ability to work independently and proactively engage stakeholders.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
